Inter-Spirituality Retreat with Canoeing at Pictured Rocks Camp

Relax. Re-center. Reconnect with nature and the Sacred on Sep 30th. This overnight retreat includes gentle hiking, meditation, praying with the senses, friendship, and canoeing. We will hold an inter-faith dialogue circle; tell stories by the fire; honor the Jewish New Year with honey & apples and Tashlikh; perform Night Prayer from New Zealand prayer book; and engage in other ways of cultivating eyes remade for wonder and for awaking to Spirit/God/Shekhinah/Ground of Being coursing through life’s veins including one’s own.

Led by chaplain and Spiritual Life team leaders Hannah Altman, Cassie Barrett, and Lindsey Comeau. Cabin-based camping approximately 40 minutes from campus. We hope to honor our differing spiritual backgrounds and perspectives while going deeper to explore one’s own journey. RSVP to cquehl-engel before Monday the 26th. In an email indicate if you have dietary restrictions, and if you intend to canoe.

Sponsored & led by Cornell’s Chaplain & both Soul Friends & Interfaith Understanding and Exploration Leadership Teams.
