The San Francisco Peaks Case: Protecting Sacred Lands Through the Religious Freedom Restoration Act
The San Francisco Peaks are sacred to many tribes and Native Americans. In June 2005, seven tribes and other environmental organizations filed suit against a ski resort to halt usage of treated sewage to make snow. Presented by Zackeree Kelin ’01 on Nov 11th.
