Berry Center’s Lunch and Learn Series

This semester the Berry Center will host a series of Lunch and Learn sessions, that explore careers in media policy and advocacy, business, banking, the corporate world, and environmental policy.On Sep 8th, join Megan Tady, the multimedia producer for the 500,000-member national non-profit organization Free Press, the nation’s most effective media reform group. She manages, edits, and writes for the organization’s five campaign blogs (including SavetheInternet.com and StopBigMedia.com), writing about media consolidation, public media, and Internet freedom. The Berry Center is hosting an informal Lunch and Learn with Chicago-area alumni Jeff Winter ’07, associate analyst at Allstate Investments and Katie Frank ’08, accounts payable analyst at MF Global. The Berry Center is hosting an informal Lunch and Learn with Dave Swanson ’94, VP strategy consultant and product manager for Wells Fargo Financial. Wells Fargo is the fourth largest bank in the U.S. Swanson’s expertise is in consumer credit cards, but he also has held positions with Wells Fargo as a district manager, store manager, and credit manager. Join former Cornell economics Professor David Osterberg from the Iowa Policy Project to discuss careers in environmental policy this Dec 13th.
