The Small Multi-Sport Center fitness facilities remain closed to all but athletes in practice until at least Monday, Aug. 30, as fire and smoke cleanup continue.
Offices in the building have now been cleaned. The initial cleaning of the arena, weight room, and locker rooms are nearly done. A date will soon be set for repainting, requiring the building to be closed for a day due to fumes from oil-based paint.
The weight equipment will be replaced, as will the wrestling mats and the porta pits for the high jump and long jump.
