Cornell College Included in The Fiske Guide’s 2011 Best Buy Schools
Cornell College was named one of the 45 Best Buy Schools in the 2011 edition of The Fiske Guide to Colleges.
This year, the guide named 45 institutions—21 public and 24 private—as Best Buys. These institutions fall into the inexpensive or moderate price category with four or five star academic ratings. Fiske proves that sometimes the price and quality of a university do not go hand and hand.
This is the second year in a row that Cornell has been named a Best Buy school by Fiske. The college has also been named one the top 25 liberal arts schools in the nation by Forbes.
For more than 25 years, students and their families have looked to The Fiske Guide to Colleges to help make the most intelligent educational investment they can. The revised and updated 2011 edition of The Fiske Guide to Colleges by Edward B. Fiske features more than 300 of the country’s best and most interesting colleges and universities.
The Fiske Guide to Colleges 2011 is fiercely independent. The Fiske Guide accepts no consulting, advertising, or other fees from colleges and has no outside relationship with colleges working on its behalf. The Fiske Guide’s only goal is to help future students select the best colleges to reach their own goals.
