MOUNT VERNON -- Parents, siblings and guests of Cornell College students can tour the historic campus, witness a political debate and learn to play "Margaritaville" on the steel drums when Cornell hosts Family Weekend on Oct. 13-15.

Saturday, Oct. 14
9 a.m.: President's Forum, Hedges Conference Room, The Commons
9:45-10:30: Class for Parents. To register for "Historic View of Cornell," "Politics 101," "Technologically Speaking" or "Intro to the Steel Drums" (until 11:20), call (319) 895-4334. Class size is limited.

11:30: Lunch, featuring entertainment by Pandemonium steel drum band, The Commons.
