MOUNT VERNON — Parents, siblings and guests of Cornell College students can tour the historic campus, witness a political debate and learn to play “Margaritaville” on the steel drums when Cornell hosts Family Weekend on Oct. 13-15.

Friday, Oct. 13
8 p.m.: “Tartuffe,” Armstrong Theatre (also 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15).

Saturday, Oct. 14
9 a.m.: President’s Forum, Hedges Conference Room, The Commons
9:45-10:30: Class for Parents. To register for “Historic View of Cornell,” “Politics 101,” “Technologically Speaking” or “Intro to the Steel Drums” (until 11:20), call (319) 895-4334. Class size is limited.
10:35-11:20: Class for Parents. To register for “Historic View of Cornell,” “Politics 101,” or “Technologically Speaking,” call (319) 895-4334. Class size is limited.
11:30: Lunch, featuring entertainment by Pandemonium steel drum band, The Commons.
1:30 p.m.: Football game vs. Loras, Ash Park field.
8: Blind Man’s Bluff, a cappella group from Chicago, Flint Dining Room, The Commons.

Sunday, Oct. 15
11:15 a.m.: Brunch, The Commons.
1 p.m.: Men’s soccer match vs. Wartburg, soccer fields.
3: Women’s soccer match vs. Wartburg, soccer fields.
