Junior Thomas Cooke has landed a spot in the extremely-competitive Heritage Foundation summer internship program in Washington D.C.
Cooke will attend weekly briefings with policy experts, attend lectures and seminars, and be responsible for a number of duties, including assisting with research and policy development.
This experience will be the second time Cooke has spent a summer in D.C., as he worked for Senator Grassley’s office the previous summer as the Mansfield Foundation Fellow in Representative Government.
