SIG Talk explores the effect of stress on voter turnout

Hans Hassell, assistant professor of politics, will discuss the rise of using behavioral psychology in voter turnout efforts and how those efforts can change the dynamics of a campaign. He will present some of his own experimental research on how individuals respond politically in different ways when confronted with stressful life experiences and what this might mean for political campaigns.
