SIG lecture: Crop Improvement One Gene At a Time and Its Value in Biotechnology

Genome sequencing and other technologies are enabling scientists to acquire enormous data on plant traits, but there is still a need for understanding basic biology and gene function. This lecture will be presented on March 15th by Dennis Halterman ’94, assistant professor of plant pathology, University of Wisconsin-Madison.
