Pulitzer finalist speaking
March 7, 2011Angie Estes, author of four books of poetry, will speak at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, in the Shaw conference room in the Commons on Cornell’s campus.
Estes’ most recent book, “Tryst” was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. Her many awards include a Pushcart Prize and the Cecil Hemley Memorial Award from the Poetry Society of America as well as fellowships, grants and residencies from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Woodrow Wilson Foundation.
